Extracts from Visitors’ Book - 2007 “Thankyou very much for the lovely stay we enjoyed in your cottage. Very nice village with a good welcoming local pub! We look forward to returning in the Summer! Thanks. PS During our sweepstake of just how many ducks live at ‘Puddleduck’, we accumulated a total of 43. If anyone can beat that then please leave your score!” [March ‘07]

“Absolutely wonderful holiday. We loved the cottage, it’s very comfortable and so well equipped, also ideally situated. There’s so much to do and see within easy reach. The garden is lovely. We’ve cycled, been on wonderful walks and canoed. The children have been crabbing and in the sea. We’re all relaxed and very happy!” [April ‘07]

“My mother and I had a lovely week in your wonderful cottage. Lerryn is such a gem of a village, unspoilt walks, peaceful views, Amazons and Swallows on the river. Thankyou Lin and Rob. Oh yes, and thanks also for the welcoming gifts” [June’07]

“We have thoroughly enjoyed our week in Lerryn – an excellent base for exploring further afield – cottage well equipped for all 8 of us and despite disappointing weather we have found plenty to do and see. Thankyou for a lovely welcome – enjoyed the boat and even saw a blue budgie on the river!” [July ‘07]

“We’ve so enjoyed our week in Puddleduck Cottage. You made everything so welcoming and comfortable. Lerryn is such a beautiful and serene place to unwind. It is also an excellent base for visiting many places of interest nearby, eg The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Pencarrow House. Both of these were excellent and well worth a trip out. The week has flown by and we are sorry to be leaving. We hope to return one day. Your thoughtful welcome gifts were very much appreciated. Thankyou once again.” [September ‘07]

“A lovely house in a beautiful village. Very friendly pub with good food. We had great fun crossing on the Stepping Stones, walking in the woods and exploring the local area. The welcome gift was appreciated, and so were the Christmas decorations! Many thanks” [Dec/Jan ‘07/’08]
